“Aran Milis” is a Scottish Gaelic phrase that means sweetbread, gingerbread, shortbread, cake, or bun. These cookies/biscuits are a tasty delight that nourish the soul! Plain shortbread is the original flavor, but other options contain fruit, nuts, and chocolate. The color palette and typography are inspired by the cookies’ Scottish heritage. Imagery and brand identity are based around the thistle, which is one of the most well-known and recognizable symbols of Scotland.
